Lmao...im 51..got a real fancy second hand bag phone given when i was 20..whent about my business..travel here travel there thinking wow this is great...first bill= 1600$...lol..glad times have changed....

This was my first mobile phone in 1990, I can't remember what it cost, but it would have been alot.    It was a company phone so I did'nt pay.

Actually the first cell bill was rather tame.  I recall it was with Clearnet which was later purchased by Telus.  Back then they charged by the second and so 100 minute of talk for something like $15 would easily last a month.
