That brought me to an old thread? Has it been edited or something but it was from November
The thread was updated to include the $30 plan that matches the Lucky Mobile deal that Mobile syrup misrepresented in their article.

Mobile Syrup messed up and incorrectly announced inside an article that Lucky was doing 1.5GB for $30.
I think that Will was just trying to say that Public and Lucky are both copying each other again.

II think Mobile Syrup made a mistake about the $30 plan. I looked and it says 1GB included for autopay customers at luckymobile.ca
I'm uncertain if Public will match these $5 credits for provincial calling plans. Public Mobile seems to have been focusing more and more on plans that include 3g data.
I think you are right. The writers at Mobile Syrup must have misread the website. The way the graphics are laid out on the Lucky Mobile website, it is easy to think that the total data allotment is 1.5GB. I should have validated the article before posting the link. I just read the article and assumed that the writers validated everything before putting it on their site. This is not the first time that Mobile Syrup posted misleading articles and it is likely that it won't be the last time.
