My boyfriend bought me a new Public Mobile SIM card so I can switch to this from Virgin. He was trying to be nice and punched in all the info but put the wrong province by accident. So all info was right in setting up the account except providence. It should have been BC. Now because all info was right including the SIM card, it is not letting us put it in correctly. My phone number is private info expunged ... Luddite

Putting the wrong province would only cause a problem if it was the credit card billing information otherwise it would not cause an issue.if you are trying to reenter your info you must wait one hour between attempts.

1. Insert your SIM card in your phone. If your phone displaying Public Mobile at the top notification bar, your SIM card was activated.
2. If you can call out from your PM SIM card, your PM account was created.
3. If you have not get to the payment stage, your account was not created. All you need to do is restart your browser and start the activation process again. If you get the invalid SIM card error, wait for an hour for PM server to release your SIM from the previous session before trying again.

@Rhilder please use the 3 dots on the top right of your post to remove your phone number and name. This is a public forum. Whats the message that you get when you tried to activate? Check tp see if your credit card was charged. If it was insert your SIM into your phone and try to log into your self service account. If it wasnt charged wait 1 hour from last attempt, clear your browser history, go to private/ incognito mode and try again to activate your SIM card.
