Why does Public Mobile Self Serve NOT remember my login credentials and lock me out on the 2nd attempt for one hour?

This is not the first that I have encountered this situation on PM's Self Serve site.

As others have correctly stated - this is entirely a browser setting which can be manipulated/adjusted by the user, depending on their preferred default  security settings and browser of choice. 

Both my mobile device and desktop save login credentials based on select sites I wish them to.

A lot of sites don't remember your login credentials because it's a security risk.  Usually sites will stores cookies/etc on your local computer so that your computer will "remember" who you are next time you access the site.

Public Mobile does have a "Remember Me" option that allows your username to be saved for convenience.

Another option people like is using the local browser (eg. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc) to associate and save your username + password to your computer for quick access.  Just make sure you remember your password if you ever log on to another computer/etc that doesn't have this saved!  🙂

It must be your browser.  I use Chrome and it works for me.  I would recommend trying Chrome.

@Demas11 , browsers can save login credentials.  It's not the website that remembers them.  I use chrome and Mozilla, both have that capability.

I believe it is more a browser issue of your own.

Self-Serve remembers my login id and password after I clicked Remember Me.

Did you try other browsers?  Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox?

Another thing, your browser also cached your password with it s password manager.  Make sure they don't have the wrong password remembered.

It may be browser related. Site is not too solid either. Flush the cache and try again.
