@ElsaFilice Please don't post personal information on a public forum. Use the 3 dots top right of your post and delete all the personal info.
As for international calling, log into your self-serve account and click on plans/add-ons, from there you should be able to purchase the add-on that you need. There are two options, $8 (edit: not $10) for 200 mins that can be used for calling US and in Canada. Then there is the international option of adding 400 mins for $15. This will allow you to call the 16 countries listed there.
Also remember, you need to first add funds into your account (either CC/voucher) before making the add-on purchase.

You have the option of buying the $8 / 200 minutes of Canada & US calling ...or the $15 / 400 minutes of Canada & International calling (including US) calling. Both of those add-ons work for calls whilst you're in Canada only.

If in a hurry to pay and but add-on, buy voucher from a store or recharge.com. After trip, then try to figure out.

@Unwana If the cc on file is not going through then more than likely you will also have problems during renewal. As a temp fix you can use a voucher for the addon but you should contact the moderator to check you cc on file.
