Switched out to new SIM card

After changing to a new SIM card do I need to do anything else? Activate it to the phone?

@Nodata1  As long as you swapped the sim number via the change sim card option on your selfserve account there is nothing else to do.

Not really, you may want to restart the phone, or better yet, turn off the phone,take the sim put for 5 min and then start it again.

 

Do you have service with the new SIM? If so, no need to do anything really.

@Nodata1  you should just have to log in your account and click on switch Sim and enter the new Sim number and then pop it in the phone and put the old one in the garbage

There are just 3 steps to take to replace a defective SIM card.
1. Buy a new SIM card.

 

2. Logon self-serve account to replace your SIM card.
Go to <Plan and Add-Ons>, then <Change SIM card>
Enter the new 19 digit SIM card number and press Submit.

 

3. Turn off your phone. Swap the SIM card (The old SIM is now useless). Restart your phone.

 

The SIM Card change does not affect your plan. You keep the same plan.
