Switched number and nothing works

I tried to switch number and now I can’t log in or even make calls or text

Phone is ok customer service trying to fix problem now

What happens when you call 611 from your Public Mobile device?

 

 

The reason I asked if you had working services before the number change is that...if you did not, there may be something else going on.

 

*Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.

So, I am assuming you had working services before you went into your Self Serve and change your phone number, correct?

 

Did you change the phone you are using as well?

 

At this point, it may be best to submit a ticket with CSA and ask them to look into it for you.

Hopefully, if you submit now, you can get an answer before they close this evening.

What happens when you call your number...is that what you answered when you said "Nothing happens"?

Open a TAB in incognito mode, and try to log into your account (Self Serve).

If you had to many failed attempts your account will lock, and you can try again in 1/2 hour.

 

To kick-start the service, Try:

  • rebooting your phone (@HALIMACS got there first 😉 )
  • toggling into airplane mode, than back into regular mode

 

EDIT: what happens when you try to call the number you switched to?

I presume you mean you are an existing Public Mobile customer and you changed your phone number.

 

If so, try this:

  • reboot device
  • reset network settings

i suggest you can try it for a different Browser

close all Browser and do clear cache and cookies for any Browser,

how to clear cache and cookies in microsoft edge browser visit Here link,

and use a Browser from your computer,is better

use Browser microsoft edge or chrome latest version
and just make sure your Browser is up to date update
sometime is the Browser is not update is give a issue.

for microsoft edge how to update your browser visit Here link, 

and Restart your computer, is will help a lot,

 

and if you use a home internet please do one thing take your power internet off for about

a 1 minute and put it back on,to refreshing your network,

 

and if still not fix it please you Have To Submit a Ticket To Customer Support Agent by CS_Agent,

they can solve your issue, they are nice Service Team they will help you 100%.
