I changed my SIM card from my SKY Pro 5 to my MotoG5 and am getting a request for a SIM unlock PIN. This is not a locked phone. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Phone 100 percent has to be locked to another carrier. Locked phones don't ask for a code. Hope you got this figured out.

Are you sure that you Moto G5 is locked to your old carrier?

It does not hurt to ask the carrier for unlock code as you don't have to have a plan with them in order to get it unlocked.

After inserted your PM SIM card to Moto G5, did it ask for unlock code?
