Sometimes it just takes 24hrs. My wife signed up and ported on Friday Saturday afternoon, and had to wait first thing monday before it worked. There was also a promotion for a free month at the time of sign up so it was provably busy. be patient!

You cannot port a suspended mobile number.
If your number was suspended before porting you can only port after you have reactivated with Rogers. This will apply to porting mobile numbers from any carrier - must be active

thank you I will message a moderator now
At least to stop the port and set a new temporary number. Then when the other service is active, attempt the port again.

@robbiemackay22 wrote:No it doesn’t the phone # I tried porting was recently suspended by Rogers, it will allow to me make out going calls with the public mobile sim but not receive calls or send/receive texts
the # I ported shows up when I make outgoing calls
Rule #3...the originating service needs to be active.

About an hour ago now, I received a text from
public mobile almost instantly after trying.
”Public Mobile here: We're experiencing difficulties processing your request to move to Public Mobile. Please go to PublicMobile.ca, click Contact us and complete the SIM & Activation online form. Thanks.”

Ask a moderator (Can take up to 48 hrs, 1 message at a time).
You may attempt the lost & found trick, no guarantees.
