I paid but I am not getting any data. I did all the steps to troubleshoot and it's still not working. I would like the data I paid for please

The most common problem for data not working is that you need to update the APN settings/search for the network manually.

 

In your phone settings under Mobile Network --> Carrier --> select Manually search for network and click on Public Mobile

 

For APN, it would be under Mobile Network --> Access Point Names

Add a new APN and enter the Public Mobile details -->https://apn-canada.gishan.net/en/apn/public-mobile

What kind of phone do you have? What plan do you have? Do you see data in your self serve account? Is it an add-on or plan data?

 

Turn air plane mode ON then OFF. Do you have another phone to try your sim card in to see if data is working? Has data every been working? Have you tried data on more than 1 app, have you confirmed you have no local data restrictions / firewall settings? Go into mobile data usage under settings and make sure you have not used your local "data limit" and there are no network restrictions

 

Go into network search and try reconnecting to the network and make sure LTE is set to preferred (even if you have 3g)

 

Does MMS work? (Not SMS) MMS uses data

 

The most likely cause is the APN. You need to configure your APN settings to be able to send pictures (MMS) and navigate on internet (DATA). Your "Mobile Data" needs to be activated.

Settings > More / More Networks / Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > New APN setting (or a plus sign)

@NovahCan you outline the "steps" you tried? If you let us know what you did try we work with you to figure out the issue. But please provide significantly more information.
