Locked out of my selfserve account & forgot password..

How long it is aweful technical support is supposed to work?

Sent a bunch of private messages to Moderator_Team

and NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job doing your own reading to figure out whatever problems.

I'll grant it's just easier to ask a question from people that might know off the top of their heads quickly rather than trying to figure it out but it's also satisfying to find an answer and try it and it works.

moderators did not appear to be online this weekend, unless they typically work offline.    Had to read a lot of this forum to get an issue resolved.  Hopefully the mod situation will improve for people.

@Summerjoyheart  just a fyi I sent a message thursday and got a reply today. 

 

also if you plan on porting you nuumber out you will need your account number.  I think you can find it in your welcome email from PM else you will need access to your account to get it or hekp from a mod.

It's ok, I am changing provider today, private mobile is th worst rubbish Telus could have come up with.

Why not just renew your current plan. And ask mods to change to the plan you want after the fact.

 

That is what I did when I logged I. And was not able to change plan because of a system error. Plan renewed today, I contacted them Thursday with no reply. So I am assuming they are working on Wednesday or earlier requests.

My apology but Public mobile is a terrible way to get mobile service, especially when you are in dire need of immediate assistance.

You will need to wait for the reply from the moderator team. Only they can unlock your account. They are pretty busy with other inquiries so it might take some time for them to get back to you.

I totally understand that my message won't be able to solve your issue, but I can assure you the mods are working very hard at getting to everyone as soon as they can.  Yes there is an extremely long wait time that is unacceptable but it is not the mods issue.  This is where PM needs to step up and get the back end working better to reduce the workload on the mods or hire more mods until the issues get resolved and a response time is back to an acceptble 2-4 hours.
