I was locked out for the past 2 days. I was unable to even try to reset my password. I finally messaged the moderator team and received a reply within an hour (it was actually probably less than an hour initially). After answering some questions to verify that it was actually me trying to access my account, the moderator unlocked  my account and gave me a temporary password. I was then able to log in and reset my password. I would suggest you contact the moderator team to unlock your account.

Try using the forgot pass word link.  Also try using a different browser and incognito mode.  Also clear your cache and cookies.  If that does not work then submit a ticket to a moderator by clicking on the question mark on the bottom right.
