@gracejoy, if your Public Mobile account/phone number is still active, you can call 611 to remove autopay.

Then (if you are not porting out the phone number) after 90 days of being in suspended status you will automatically lose the account and phone number.

Choices to cancel service:
1. Quick and keeping your phone number
Remove autopay credit card info to stop autopay using the instructions posted above and port your number to another provider. Your account will be canceled right away.

2. Slow and not keeping your phone number.
Remove autopay credit card info to stop autopay. Your account will be suspended without payment at your next renewal date. 90 days after suspension, your account will be cancel. You have 90 days to change your mind by paying and reactivate your account.

3. Make small amount of money and not keeping your phone number
If you have a plan with high demand, you can let someone to take over your plan. Your phone number will go with the plan to the new owner.

Remove your card completely.

Now either port your number out. If you don't want your number just leave the account as is. System will try to get your money at payment due date when it can't it will suspend the account. After 90 days in suspended status it's closed and deleted.

Sorry to see you go!

Hi @gracejoy

Login to your self serve account, click payment tab, click manage my card on bottom left, and remove auto pay.

EDIT:  Beyond canceling auto-payment, there's really nothing else to do.  If you are going to port your phone number to another provider soon after canceling auto-pay, it should be a seamless process and once the port is complete, your Public Mobile account will permanently deactivate.
