Can't receive calls or texts - new activation

In September I cancelled my phone with Bell. I ordered a Sim card from Public and activated it early yesterday morning using the old Bell number.

 

I can text and call out, but cannot recieve calls or text. Anyone who tries to calls me gets the message "the number you have reached is not in service". 

 

Oddly, I can recieve texts from another PM user, my son, but from no one else.

 

Any help?

Did you try to transfer your Bell number during activation?

 

You closed your Bell account; so, when did the Bell SIM stop working?

 

What is make/model of your phone?

@Silverpinetech Just reread your post and noticed you activated with your old Bell number. However, because you closed your Bell account in September you cannot transfer it to Public Mobile. Even though PM was able to activate your account with your Bell number for outgoing calls they will be unable to establish that number for incoming calls.

 

You should login to your account and pick a new number. That should enable full service. If that fails send a private message to any moderator with your phone number, SIM card number, and a description of what has happened; but given their backlog it will likely be several days before they respond.

Under your name go to My Settings >> Personal >> Personal Information  .. Signature

Hi. @Luddite, the Signature thing is not showing in that section, I do have Mobile Signature, but the regular part where you described is not showing in there

PM Sig missing.JPGThis is what I get. So, that means that either it's reserved for Oracles, or I have a Glitch in my settings
