I changed my plan about 2 hours ago but can’t make any local phone calls

okay. so your problem is calling local phone numbers. that's very weird. and you can call outside of your local area? try to call another province. See if it connects. 

 

I guess you have to contact a moderator for this.

I made the payment after I changed my plan. 

I am able to text and access the internet

If you made an immediate change to plan 40 from plan 50, did you have $40 in your available funds? I'm thinking there was payment system problem and thats causing your account to be suspended. But you said 611 does not say that that's the case. Are you still able to text and access the internet?

now to try and get ahold of a moderator 

@Leeesa53Public Mobile payment system has a bug regarding autopay and scheduled downgrade (monetary) plans.. if you fit that category you have no choice but to get the moderators to fix it for you.

- 611 doesn’t say my account is suspended 

- self serve account says next payment due Oct 11

- my previous plan was $50 a month. I changed it to $40 a month

Will try adding $1 to account. Have already tried rebooting phone and removing SIM. Wish me luck 🙂

@Leeesa53 please answer my questions one by one. 

 

  • call 611. What does it say? Does it say that your account is suspended?
  • What does your self-serve overview account status say? Does it say your plan is expired? Does it say you have an amount owing?
  • What was your previous plan and what is your new plan?

1. Reboot the phone.

2. Try the Lost / Stolen trick

3. Add $1 to your account
