referral reward Scenario

I know referrals do not work on 10 day plans. but what happens if someone switches back and forth to a rewards plan to a non rewards plan.

ie if:

1.  my friend signs up on a 10 day plan and uses my number as a referral, and the switches to a 90 day plan.
2.  friend is on a 90 day plan and then goes to a 10 day plan or plan expires for 20 days then once again signs up for a 90 day plan?

my gut says that since PM is prepaid and each term is a new contract  the referrals will show up or disappear based on on the what service length is selected.

just hoping someone can confirm.

From what I know, the referral reward is given to you when your freind renew/pay for their plan.

i.e.

1. your friend sign up 10 day plan > you will not see a reward

2. your friend switched to 90 day plan > you will receive $3 reward

So basically, you should see your reward whenever your friend pay for an eligible service.
