Never got the $10 sign up bonus

Hi guys, newbie here. I just activated my SIM and phone and put in a friend's phone number in the reference box, but did not receive any sign up bonus. Did I do it incorrectly?

The referral credit will show up within 72 hours.  Your friend will receive a text message that they successfully referred a friend.  Usually the referral credit will show up in your Available Funds the next morning.
