If I enter a friends referral code during activation do I save 10$?

Hello everyone, I’m just about to activate my PM service, I chose the cheapest plan just to try the service out. I’m at the very end of activation and it says I need to pay $10. I thought that using the referral number would give me a $10 discount. Am I wrong here? just want to make sure before I finish activation. Thanks for any help.

Also if auto pay is enabled during the activation, another $2 will be made available for use at renewal time.

Did you enter your friend's phone number in the section for friend referral?  You will receive the credit within 72 hours (usually 24 hours).  So, it will be for your 2nd month fee.  You do need to pay for the first month.
