I just activated my phone late yesterday. I still can't text or receive calls.

Is your phone unlocked?  Does it show any signal or no service? Does data work?  Have you rebooted the phone?

If you port your number it could take few hours @Corrier01 ...Is your self serve account ACTIVE? 

If the problem is partial you would write a message to the moderator here..

If you are also porting your number you won't be able to receive calls until the port is 100% done.
