Just tried to sign up but got this error on the Summary page after payment: 

"Oops ... It seems that something went wrong .. Please href=" https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help" Target="_blank">email us to get your account operational. We apologize for any inconvenience."

I followed the instructions to take a new number if I'm porting from koodo. The page said to "contact us" at a broken link if one was a current koodo customer. So, I am unsure if my account was created or if the payment went through. I saw this but it assumes I already have a PM account (which I don't think I do). Please help!

So i do have an account working now but i don't see the $120 plan that i picked in my account but I do see that I have $120 available funds. Still need to port my number from koodo as well. Thanks

You may need to contact one of the mods to get things fixed up.

 

Hopefully it's done soon!

Thanks. I've private messaged one moderator but haven't heard anything. Where can I find a list of moderators that I can contact?

If you have an account, perhaps you can just re-try the porting process by going under Plans and Add-Ons, and Change Phone Number. There you would just select Transfer a wireless or wireline number from Public Mobile or another provider and try the steps again.

 

Maybe one of the mods (@Shazia_K@Mary_M) can step in if you need help.

Thanks everyone. The suggestion from @Watoko for changing my number worked. Account number from koodo worked for the transfer and I can now make/receive calls + data working. Thanks @Mary_M
