Make the transaction history clearer, customers are getting confused when the look at it.

The pricing system has changed with discounts being removed.  I would imagine that will translate over to the payment history even for legacy plans.  That will hopefully result in a single entry per renewal instead of the piece meal costing per feature with a multiple feature discount.

@william13am I doubt it. The discounts are probably still there behind the scenes and in the billing, it's just being masked in the plan selection pages for simplicity. @danielj have a look here: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Announcements/Public-Mobile-Website-Changes/m-p/18323...

The discounts are still there, I just looked at the individual prices on the 90-day 15 GB 4G, provicce wide with texting.  $180 (with discount) vs $240 without discount ($25+35+30+150)

 What I don't see is anything to say that buying a 90 day plan is a cost savings...  I thimk Public Mobile may now be looking at possibly in the future, making discounts smaller, or possibly eliminating the 90 day option due to this.

There ready-made plans, promotional, more advertised plans tend to be 30-day plans with $2 AutoPay reward activated when you can just get the same deal without the $2 AutoPay reward activated by choosing the 90-day version. With the $2 AutoPay reward activated and the 90-day version technically being a better price (without over complicating it with the time value of money, with the current interest rates making the time value to be nominal). Public Mobile appear to be focusing on the 30-day plans and attempting to shift to be more of a typical cell phone carrier to compete and get customers from the other cell phone companies while a lot of PM current customer come aboard for the uniqueness, customizability and affordability. Some of the sources of their affordability also being factors of their uniqueness. If we wanted typical plans for typical prices we could go to Telus or Koodo. PM’s plans should be fair, honest and affordable.

@srlawren

Thanks for the link.

It is not necessarily that people don't understand the transactions, but it might be helpful if the "balance" isn't all listed as positive when they aren't. If it's negative, it should be reflected as such rather than showing numbers going up and down.

@danielj your reply to me indicates you may not understand how pre-paid works. By definition, you can't ever have a negative balance. You can't ever "owe" Public Mobile money. This is why you always see the top-up first (chronologically) in the transaction history. You must first put in the money, and then the system starts deducting the various amounts for your various services. A negative balance is impossible.
