I operate a phone repair business in rural Alberta, and selling/promoting the public mobile product interests me, especially for young & newly immigrated customers (read:credit challenged). People want to buy a SIM and activate it fast, and having repair shops selling the SIMs would really help.

Unfortunately, it is online purchase only at the moment.  I would suggest that you can buy a stack of SIM cards and make them available to your customers.  Public Mobile may have issues with you reselling them at a profit but if you do it as a free service, I see no harm as it promotes the service.  Unfortunately, there is no credit paid to anyone for setting up a new account unlike what the big 3 would give an authorized retailer for a new activation.  There is just a tiny referral credit that you could go after.  All it would do is get you a free line, hardly a business worthy situation.

@canamrotax I have seen lots of small cell phone unlocking stores selling Public SIMs (esp in ethnic markets)

Most are charging more than $5 but you get activated right away (there were threads on this)

Not officially supported by Public but you can certainly buy a few SIMs for resale (or give away and get the refer credits)
