I am very disappointed that 4G plans are gone and Public Mobile offers 3G only now.
Recently I visited Europe and this is what I got for 39.90 Euro (about 59 CAD tax included). The company is called Bouygues Telecom - if you want to check.
1. SIM (included)
2. Unlimited calling in France
3. 4G LTE data - 20 GB!
4. Duration of the service - 60 Days
5. 15 GB of the above are usable when Roaming in Europe
6. Long distance calling - included value of 25 Euro.
7. I made 1 (yes - only one!) call after inserting the SIM and my service started.
I visited 5 contries and my phone continued to work calls and 4G LTE data in all of them.
Now - when you say that you are competing, bringing value etc. Customers prefer "simplicity" Look at the above and consider where you are.
Then - when you decide to travel from Canada to Europe - why bother taking the plane (4G). I think you would be just fine on a cargo ship (3G).
Or why don't you offer 2G or 1G? Unlimited data eh?
I am so much disappointed by your decision. And I had great respect for your brand.
