@balaguhan , are has voice ever worked or are you a new customer?

Speaking of the 850 and 1900MHz UMTS bands, It's not even a matter of the occasional place not having one or the other available.  I believe that there are entire regions that do not have UMTS band 5 (850MHz) at all. If you're in a location such as that, this would explain the lack of phone call ability.

Your phone will not work well with public mobile.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

  • 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
  • HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

3G band is missing 1900, so your talk may be hit and miss.  You also have only 1 4G band.

Try your SIM card in another phone to help determine whether hardware issue versus PM service issue.

Poor choice of phone for PM. PM's required frequencies are:

  • 4G LTE/LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz; 2100 MHz downlink with 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).

  • HSPA (3G): 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS). >>> required for calls

Service will be very hit and miss as you have only 1 band for 3G and for LTE.
