Why do I have no service when I just paid my phone bill

@Cass4200  and @amogh12, as you know, with the chaos of the pandemic across the world and in your own backyard, all lines are busy.  I guess too many folks calling the ISP to figure out what was happening - an issue with the number of lines going into the business, all 'circuits' busy for their incoming line.

It is what it is. Other cell phone providers will have these issues. Hence, why am the OG that still has a landline, that I don't have a problem? Granted, I did do a telephone conference from my cell phone with no issues. Luck of the draw?!

Outage confirmed even on mobile syrup.  If phone service is absolutely critical at all times, it is best to have overlapping service (e.g., home phone supplied by a different provider than cell phone).

Should be back to normal now...at least in interior of BC it is.

@Cass4200 , @kcal , and @amogh12  there is an outage affecting Western Canada. In the meantime add the TextNow voip app and use it via Wifi to make / receive / send calls and texts in Canada and to the United States for free. There is currently an outage in some areas ...mostly Alberta

same here ... is it because Telus's AB wide no service affecting us ?
