If I don't have a long distance add on plan and receive a call from Scotland, does anyone know what the per minute charge would be?

The call will fail unless you have a long distance add-on that includes calling the U.S.

The $5 500 minute add-on only includes Canadian long distance (no minutes to call the U.S.).

The free 500 minute add-on includes many more countries.

That's not a long distance for you to receive the call, and there will be no extra charge.  It doesn't matter for you where someone is calling you from.
