I would like to keep my phone number with a change to a minimum payable.

I have misplaced my sim card and I am traveling outside of Canada. Replacing the sin card at this time is not an option.

How do I change my plan as it is in the 90 day grace period before I make a minimum payment plan?

Hello @a8610

Changing phone plans or changing SIM cards will does not require a phone number change.

You can do both of these actions, yourself, through your Self Serve account.

Phone number changes are a different process and can done through your Self Serve 4 times a month.

@a8610

Do you have a balance? If you do and it is equal to or more than your plan amount and your account is suspended via lost/stolen you must get a moderator to change your plan for you before you resume your service.

If you don't have a balance or your funds are less than your current plan amount you can resume your service via lost/stolen. Then go to the plans page and choose your new plan ($15) and choose change plan immediately ( now) it will direct you to the payment page if need be....choose other amount and enter the amount needed.

If it does not reactivate your service immediately and/or tells you to pay $10 ignore that and suspend your service via lost/stolen. Log out/in. Resume your service. Your service should now be active.

@a8610  Are you still able to logon to My Account?  if you can logon, you would be able to change the plan without issue even the phone or SIM is not with you at the moment.

Make sure you reactivate the account before 90 days or you will loss your phone number

Changing your plan is done by logging into your account at selfserve.publicmobile.ca.  You don't actually need a SIM card to keep the account active, but you do need to ensure that service resumes before the 90 days.
