Hello,

I cant seem to call my mother in law, who is using a VOIP service for her landline. Whenever I call it, I get the following:

"Hello, Public Mobile here, it looks like calling is not included in your plan"

I havent run into other problems calling anyone else, and she can call me.. but I cant call her.

Its weird...

@Pharmamitch Ignore the message; if local the call should go through anyway.

Have you tried adding a 1 or +1 in front of the number?  Some customers have reported getting a message that the number they called was long distance, even though it was covered by their plan. Adding the +1 solved the issue in these cases.  Worth a try.

Hmm.. thats good thinking, but she's got a 604 number. Im also on the province wide calling plan.

@Pharmamitch I suspect this is a long distance issue...

Is your mom's line using a newer area code?
