Calls go directly to voicemail

lately I have gotten a few of my calls going directly to the voicemail

the phone never rang and there is no missed call

and then there notifications of me getting voicemail

what could be the problem?

I am in the same location as before (its not like i was going to places with no service)

i am using iphone 7 and is using LTE

i guess it is just random and nothing i could do at the moment

i will start the phone and just wait and see

I've been getting spotty data service today - but flipping airplane mode on then off restored it for me.

Nothing too strange in my mind - a hiccup somewhere though.

what phonen are you using?  try switching to 3g from LTE (I might be wrong, but i recall that as a workaround as  some phones had issues switching from LTE to 3g)

i would say it is mostly the call from like company (which could be a good thing i guess)

but I am missing service call etc

I guess it could be related to the no signal

my signal at home is only 2 bar, althought the calls quality are clear.

but I noticed more calls are missed after that time when a lot of people (including me) just lost the service that one day maybe a month ago?

Most likely no signal when there is call, so it went straight to the voicemail.

Does it happen to all phone number or just a few ?
