I just checked my calendar and it started around Dec 2 last year.

I have a feeling the black Friday deals for existing customers will be the $30/2.5gb and $50/9.5gb that Quebec customers are being offered

Offer is pretty unenticing to be honest. Not going anywhere.

PM has been used as an instrument for Koodo/Telus migration before.

They're a little more discreet about it now. Because a couple years ago they had an ongoing series of escalating (but botched) Koodo migration bribes which ended up turning into quite a gong show. It created a lot of disenfranchised PM customers and (for a time) a lot of bad rep for PM online.
