@eajhealy , there will never be a charge for something you did not already pay for here at Public Mobile, since all services are prepaid. No overages here 😄

There's no difference, if the call works. As z10user4 said, some U.S.-based toll free numbers can't be called from Canada, but that's dependent on how the company using it set the number up.

 @eajhealy : Customers that subscribe to a toll-free service can decide what all areas can call the number. So you might call a toll free number that that customer has chosen not to accept.

Other than that, for the limited minute plans here, officially yes they consume minutes...but experience says otherwise. So this is subject to change at any time without notice.
