Good morning,

I just was assigned a number yesterday and when I make outgoing calls, it works but when I try incoming calls someone else is picking up and saying that it is his number? In addition my cell phone is not ringing with incoming since someone else is gettting the call.

Please help me as the other gentleman is confused as well and said he has had the number for years. This is my first experince using Public Mobile and hoping for better understanding.

Thanks in advance for your quick response.

Sorry to hear about this.  Unfortunately, this has happpened a bunch of times before.  For some strange reason, Telus-branded carriers have gotten into the strange habbit of, on a rare basis, assigning telephone numbers to new customers that are already in use by somebody else.  In the past, Telus tried to assing my phone number to a new customer.  In the end, the customer who had this number first will keep it. You'll need to have your phone number changed.
