Does anyone know if  Alcatel U50 is compatable here?

Good News for the ones wondering if Alcatel U 50  (  Unblocked...)

 

Alcatel  U50   as a prepaid ( unblocked )  It Does  work with  Public Mobile...just  took sim card from my old apple 5 to Alcatel  U50... put it in Alcatel in seconds made a call,.....

 

  & saw  Public mobile..sign top left hand corner as It did on my Apple 5.....

Based on the manufacteur's informatin at https://www.cubot.net/smartphones/p30/spec.html , you should not buy this device.

 

If the above information is accurate, it may sometimes work on Band 7 LTE, but since the UMTS bands are listed as 900 and 2100MHz, you will not be able to make or receive any phone calls with this device.

@brewskie make sure it's unlocked to use it on public mobile,  and I believe to port over a number from pc mobile you have to ask the moderators to do it.  Also don't forget a refferal code to get a 10$ credit on your new account!

You will need wcdma 850 and1900 mhz for talk

Lte i think 2,4,5 the more the better
