no Data

To Whom It May Concern,

My account # is: xxx and phone # is xxx.

I added Data service on May 13th, 2019. But it doesn't work at all. When I went out without wifi, I couldn't use any Internet. However, on my Data Usage, it showed I used the data.

I have already been to Public Mobile Counter to ask for help. They even helped me insert my card to their own phone, it still didn't work. It looks like there is problem on the SIM card. And everytime, the helper called #611, the customer serives always told us that I didn't pay. But I am sure I paid the Data Fee. I checked my bank transaction, showing that the amount of money from Public Mobile has been deducted.

Please please please help me as soon as possible. I really need to use Data.I don't want to waste money on it. Please again help me!!!! I'd appreciate it!!!!

Best regards,

Julia

There've been a bunch of questions asked that you don't seem to want to answer.

Maybe you could post a screen snip of your overview page. Blank our personal info of course.

What exact make/model do you have?

Is your data mode on?

Does your phone have a data block turned on to protect you from overages of a previous provider maybe?

Did you have data working here before this problem?

Hi , What Plan are you on?  The $15 Plan , $25 or the $40 Plan?

I notice on the screen shot it shows "4G" beside the signal strenth. It could be you are connected to the network, but something else is wrong.

@JuliaAlves  When you dial *611 on your phone do you have a balance in your account? If yes, is it the same amount as  of the cost your data?

My setting shows exactly the same as you provided. I tried one more time but it still didn't allow me to use data:(((

I am so disappointed:((((

@JuliaAlves: Do you mean a data add-on?

If you know you've paid something then do you see at least that amount in your Available Funds? If so then you need to finish the process by going back and buying the add-on

If you do see the add-on then have you ever had data working here or is this the first time?

If the first then:

Find your phone on this list:

If your phone isn't there maybe these might work:

@JuliaAlves  You mean *611? For data to work you need to have the correct APN setting.

These are the Public Mobile APN settings you need:

Name: Public Mobile
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Leave blank
Port: Leave blank
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Server: Leave blank
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMSC proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Leave blank
APN type: default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO type: GID
MVNO value: 4D4F

Don't forget to save these settings and then select this APN as the active one.

If you need to know where to find the settings:
Android
Settings > More / More Networks / Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > New APN setting (or a plus sign)

Iphone
Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Cellular Network
OR
Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Mobile Data Network.
