@gerriwalsh it will be fine for calls and texting and 3G data.  You may not get the newer 4G LTE coverage in some areas as it lacks the "main" 4G band (band 4) used by Public Mobile, but you will be able to use it fine anyway.  You should not need to return the phone.

The phone has been ordered and shipped as of today  should i keep it or return it?

if i use it as per your advise  what problems would i incurr?

@gerriwalsh  If you already have the phone then yes you can use it with Public Mobile. If you are thinking of buying it then maybe you should consider something else.

This phone is missing LTE 1700 AWS.  Depending on the location, you may not get LTE support.

@gerriwalsh  Not a good choice as it only supports the 3G bands and only B5 and B7 of the 4G/LTE bands. You are better off going with another option.

It should be compatiable if it supports 850 and 1900 bands.
