Hi, I am wondering if the Xiaomi Mi4 I am planning on buying would work with Public Mobile?

Do not purchase Xiaomi (a Chinese phone) because It's hell to deal with them for the warranty,

Plus, Xiaomi phones are incompatible with Canadian LTE networks.

Hi,

According to my research, both versions lack 1700 MHz for 3G voice communication.

The 4G LTE version is incompatible because it is not HSPA+ enabled.

In conclusion, I would recommend another phone, with the following frequencies: 850 MHz and 1900 MHz for 3G voice, and 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz for HSPA+ data.

You can buy such phones at Staples, Best Buy, Telus online, Costco, Walmart, London Drugs, and Amazon.
