Works on the Telus network, which is the owner/supplier of Public Mobile service in Canada.

@Cheapjon yes. Although this phone is not in the list of supported phones, it has frequencies required by PM to operate. You are good to go😉

@Cheapjon Yes, it will work. Costco is an authorized seller for Moto Canada cell phones. They wouldn't sell a Moto phone that isn't compatible with Public Mobile. The compatibility checker doesn't do anything to make a phone work. It is only a guide.

@Cheapjon It will work. The compatibility checker is updated manually that's why its not working for you.
The phone will work.

Hello @Cheapjon ,
The phone checker on the PM website is not always up to date:
Check Your Phone's Compatibility
To test whether your phone i’s compatibility with our network and not marked as lost or stolen, click here.Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:
Please note that this information is indicative only. Your phone's compatibility with our 4G or 4G LTE networks is based on the radio frequencies of your phone. Public Mobile does not guarantee that your phone will work on our mobile network.
For the Motorola Moto G8 Power, these are showing the frequencies. So if you have this phone, I would say yes it would work.
