NiX101

Just purchased a Umidigi F1 Play from Amazon.ca. I can send and receive calls and texts but I can receive Data. My plan has 4G, the phone also displays only 3G.

As far as I can tell everything points to Telus,

Mobile Data is tunerd on,

Prefered Network is set to 4G,

Enhanced 4G LTE is turned on,

Network is set to Automatically select network.

Access Point Name is set to Telus SP.

Any Sugestions???

Thank you very much too! I just bought an UMIDIGI and didn't know why mobile data did not work. Set it with your specifications and works like a charm!

@skippy01

That's ok bald and connected is hot these days!

.. you just need to update the APN?

Thanks very much.

I applied these changes to my Umidigi A9 Pro. They worked fine, but not before I had pulled out all my hair.

Before this. No data.

@ToMuchCatnip  Glad you got it working!! 🙂👍

@ geopublic

Thanks for this post. It helped my problem with my power 3 🙂

I had a few mistakes. One being I had a space after each dot in sp.mb.com. I guess my autocorrect through it was a period and made a space. I literally just copied each of your suggestions and pasted it in and it worked!

Happy now. Was starting to worry my phone was a no go! Yay!

Just bought a Umidigi Power 3 and couldn't figure out why I had no wireless data.  Was about to ship it back to Amazon but love the phone and would rather not do that..  Works now!  Thanks!!

The APN info you provided does the trick!

Thanks

Sounds like it's advisable to only try a speed test on the last day of billing cycle, depending, of course, on how much data is available for the OP to use.  Viewing the available plans I only see one plan with 1GB data at 4G (unless there's more in BYOP), so perhaps not a lot of data to play around with at the of the billing cycle.

That can use lot of data on LTE plan. I do  not recommend.

I know all too well my self, that's how I blew through my data on my former provider, wasn't a fun month I'll say that much.

Im just curious with this phone, op can  do it or not.  In the pass, future or whenever.

Usually someone is going to test it at some point of their usage.   It is not doing often every month.   Many have done it on LTE, if too much data, dont do it.

@MoreYummy you should probably mention this with the request, as not everyone is aware that 1) speed tests count against your available data, and 2) speed tests can use up a LOT of data

I've seen a report that someone on the first day of a 3G speed plan (before throttle applied to their plan) ran 1 test, and used 1 GB of data.  This can ruin a new user's experience with Public Mobile, or any provider.

@MoreYummy  Why are you asking the OP to do a speedtest especially when speedtests use large amounts of data?
