I need to a pin unlock code for a my Samsung s5
@Bunzy, if your phone is SIM locked, you need to go to the issuing carrier for the phone and ask for the unlock code.
Hi, do you mean to unlock the phone? If you are currently with another provider, where you got the phone from, call them and ask for the unlock code. They can no longer charge you for this service.
Can you get it from where you bought the phone? If not I believe you can get it by contacting Samsung.
Samsung is giving unlock codes.
OK justhanks weird when buddy just got the phone and pin unlocked and was already using a public mobile sim in it
What is the exact message displayed? Perhaps it's for the new SIM rather than the phone? Is your sim already active in another phone?

So what's the timing here?
What SIM and service was on the iPhone?
What SIM and service was on the Samsung?
What SIM is trying to be used in what phone?
Certainly moving SIM's from phone to phone should be no problem (other than unlocked and compatible).

@Bunzy Is it possible that buddy locked is previous PM sim card on that phone so whe you insert your PM sim card it's asking for an unlock code?
You may need to send a private message to moderator for a PUK code.

FYI
A PUK code stands for “Personal Unlock Key.” It's a unique code that is linked to your mobile phone's SIM card and is usually 8 digits long. You will need the PUK code if you have set a SIM Card lock and entered the wrong passcode 3 times. Your phone will become locked, and you will need the PUK code to unlock it.
