Please do not use the information on that page. The information on that part of the website has incorrect information.  Public Mobile does not support 2G GSM whatsoever, and the LTE bands listed by this site for Public Mobile are incomplete.

I am hoping to get this phone too and it is not on the compatibility list on the PM website (that list really needs updating as it doesn't even have last year's model, the A20). I found this thread so I assume it is compatible then!

@Simon06 reset your network settings

1. Open Settings>General Management>Reset
2. Tap Reset Network Settings>Tap Reset Settings
If prompted enter your pin, passcode
3. Tap Reset Settings 1 more time to confirm
4. Restart

@Simon06 Did you port the number or a brand new activation? Check your self-service account first. Is it active? Your phone should work with PM. Then try to turn off your phone for a few mins and turn it back. Also, lost/stolen feature is available through self-service and can be used for a few mins. Fly mode for a few mins can help as well.

So you've activated an account and you've inserted your SIM?

Calls in/out? Texts in/out?

Try turning on cell data and then restarting the phone.

@Simon06

Your phone should work with Public mobile.  It is compatible.

Here are the specs:

You may need to troubleshoot further.

Was your credit card charged?  In self service, account status active?

Maybe reboot your phone? network reset?
