Added and activated SIM card. Cell phone is not working

When I activated my SIM card, I was given a warning that it might take 24-48 hours for everything to transfer over and work correctly. It took far less for me. How long as it been since you activated?

I was also told that there is a small chance that the SIM card may not work. Most phones now are unlocked- it's illegal to sell locked phone now- do you have an older phone?

you said added and activated a SIM card.. did you mean you added a 2nd line or so? 
 
If so, use your SIM card on your original phone
 
 
.  If not, then you have to either contact the Mod or try it on a 2nd unlocked phone.

Your self service account manages your PM account.  I assume that you are unable to access if your account was not set up properly.

Did you activate a new PM number or port over your number from another company? Did you activate at home or in store?

Tried all of the above. Phone unlocked. States service is not available

Check your credit card to see if it was charged.  Also log into your self serve account to see the status.

What message are you getting? 
Is your phone unlocked?

Try rebooting phone.
Try resetting network settings.

Did you try restarting your phone? Which model is it and does it have UMTS 850 and 1900MHZ?
