Hello there!
I this case you need the help of a Moderator. Here is the link to create a ticket through SIMon:
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help -> on the line "ask me something" write "moderator" -> then click on "account specific question" -> afterward click on "no, I want a human" -> finally you will see an answer "submit a ticket Click me!"
I hope this was helpful! 🙂
Excellent day!

I don't believe that's true anymore, reading lines 311 to 315 of the new policy says that they must unlock it free of charge if they provided the device after Dec 1st http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/archive/2017/2017-200.htm

@AlexOfAnders not quite
Although many have gotten around this they are ONLY required to unlock for free if you are their client
If you activate a Rogers phone, then port to Public, Rogers CAN still charge you a fee
@AlexOfAnders wrote:Who did you purchase the locked phone from? It is now illegal to lock phones in Canada starting Dec 1st and they can't charge you to unlock it anymore so I would contact them and ask to have the phone unlocked. If they won't do it, file a complaint with the CRTC https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/phone/plaint.htm

Hi @Amber1031,
The PUK code is unique to each SIM card. You may have to send a message to the Moderators with your account details (account name, phone number, pin, SIM card number) and see if they can provide you with a PUK code tied to your SIM card.
To send a message to the Moderators, use the following link:

Here is a similar thread i believe.

The phone is locked to Rogers, I called them today and they gave me an unlock code but 2 months ago I went to have the phone unlocked and the unlock code they gave me was not accepted, so when I tried to unlock the phone today it says it says it needs the sim puk.

I don't think the puk number is on the simcards. Best bet is to try message the mods include you sim number if possible.
Contact the Moderator_Team by clicking here.
In your message include:
- account email address , pin number if possible
- PM phone number
- explanation of what is happening or a link to this thread
- if its a porting issue include your sim number, old account name and account number

Where on my sim card would I find it?

The PUK number should be on your SIM card (or at least on the plastic card that you punched the SIM card out of). The PUK is unique to the SIM, rather than to the phone.
