HI!

Thanks for your response! It is a post paid plan with PC Mobile. It is using the same e-mail address, I believe. It never occured to me to use a different one . .

I sent an email to the moderator e-mail Thanks for your help!

I assume you did that with the PC sim? If so do as I suggested above. Beware it make take up to 48 Hrs but be sure to include as much information as you can and explain what happened and what you have tried to fix it, including that your PC mobile sim is still working.

EDIT: As your PM sim is working fine with the new number you can use it as well., which ever you prefer. If you do this then when the port is done the old number will just show up on your phone without warning.

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried a different computer and cleared the cache. No luck :(. It is PC Mobile post paid.

If your PC sim is still working and you are unable to use the self serve to port then keep using your PC sim and send a message to the MODs. When the PC sim stops working you know the port is done.

Hi!

Yes I am all set up with a new number and SIM and all is working! But when I try to port under self serve, it states that I can't.  I was told that I need to post here to get additional help?? Thanks!

Is your PC mobile account still active and in good standing? This is required in order to port.

@amac, how far into the port request did you get, when you received the 'error' message?  Was your PC Mobile plan pre-paid or post paid?  If it was a post-paid plan, you MUST use/have a different email address for Public Mobile.  If the original PC Mobile email is the same as the email on your new Public mobile account, you will need to get moderator assistance in order to complete the number transfer.

Try clearing you browser cache, an incognito window or a different browser/computer. The only issue porting tends to be with Koodo prepaid.

EDIT: Let us know if you have done that and if it works.

Hi,

If you have already setup and activated your PM sim then you can just go to self serve and do a port from there.

I highly recommend setting up your account with a new number, make sure everything is working, text, calls, in/out and data, then go to self serve and port.
