Hi, I am looking at a new Samsung phone. I can't seem to find very many models that will work. I'm looking at a A32 or A52 Galaxy models.

Will they work?

Thank you 😊

No problem. If you want a more comprehensive list, you're also missing LTE B2, B13, B30. You can also mention B29, but that is for downlink only during carrier aggregation.

Also note that B12 and B17 are the same frequency/channel in most Telus markets.

@sheytoon    thanks for spot  the error.  (Tell you the truth, that was a note I copied from other posts here 😰

So, this is the correct info, i believe

3G UMTS/W-CDMA/HSPA: B2 (1900) and B5 (850)
4G FDD-LTE: B4 (1700/2100 AW1), B5 (850), B7 (2600), B12 (700), B17(700)

@hTideGnow there is no Band 1 in Canada.

Most phones in the past few years should work fine with Public Mobile, including the Samsung Galaxy A01.  🙂

Like hTideGnow said, North American (Canada/US) versions tend to work best locally, but international versions tend to work alright too.  Much of it has to do with the frequency of the "radio" that works inside, although there are other technical advantages too usually.

@rebeccatyo   A01 should work.  If you have a choice, get the American version instead of the International version.

FYI,  Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

3G UMTS/W-CDMA/HSPA: B2 (1900) and B5 (850)
4G FDD-LTE: B4 (1700/2100 AW1), B5 (850), B7 (2600), B12 (700), B17(700)
