Phone Compatibility: Galaxy A71 (SM-A715F/DS) and A51 (SM-A515F/DSN)

Do either one of these phones work 100% on the public mobile network? These phones are not listed on the public mobile page.

According to frequency check, the A71 SM-A715F/DS is only 50% compatible?

I have a galaxy A71 and it works fine on this network.

Global version means it is not specific to a certain region like Asia but works in all countries.

Sorry, I'm not tech savvy.  What does 'global version' mean?

The phones will work fine with everything Public Mobile has to offer.

I have the lesser A31 A315F. It's all good.

After cross-referencing those sites, I noticed that the phone is missing band 29 (700MHz) for LTE. Is that an issue? Seems like it has all the necessary bands except that one. The phone has band 28, but not 29.

Thanks for your help.

LTE is not a requirement to use any of Public Mobile's services, although it would be ideal to have a phone that is comptable with the LTE bands that Public Mobile uses.

@pharaohpeter no, it doesnt. as long as there are 700mhz LTE bands you will be good

Please do not rely on the informaiton presented on that page. The information they are giving you is incorrect. Public Mobile does not have any 2g GSM network. Also, the LTE information that they are giving on that linked page is incomplete.

If the information about the UMTS bands is accurate, you don't want this phone, but I have no checked specifically for this model.
