Phone Compatibility Checker Not Working

eeLS

I was trying to use the phone compatibility checker to see if I can refer someone to PM. However, the drop downs are empty and there are no options to choose from. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Make sure on the device that you are using to check the website that your date and time setting are correct. Sometimes when it's not correct it will give you errors that the webpage is not secure and won't connect.

None of these compatability checkers will ever be 100% accurate or complete. They're a good place to start but's it's good to know exactly what types of networks that the device is capable of connecting to.

At the very least, Public Mobile custoemrs need a phone with at least UMTS/HSPA 850/1900MHz or else phone calls won't be possible.

@eeLS, and @Jb456, that link isn't working properly.

Instead, try this link, no error messages: Will My Phone Work in Canada

Then go to Amazon, and do a search on your phone. For example, if I had a Motorola G7, the specs would read:

HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100 - 4G LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700), 20(800), 25(1900), 26(850), 66(1700/2100), 38(2600), 40(2300), 41(2500) - Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by)
