Whenever I switch ON the 3G, I have no network on my phone.

I have recently switched to iphone5.

Well just switching the value to 4d4f works for now, had a couple of interruptions but I think it is because of the low signal in some rooms.

Thanks

Yes, I know, but it's probably better to reset/remove the old settings instead of editing them.

The name shouldn't have any impact. It's not used by the network.

Even the phone service cuts from time to time. This is basically what's on the page since I couldn't take the screenshot.

I see you have the name as "PC Mobile".  Was that your previous cellular provider?  Maybe try a full reset of your network settings and add the APN settings again.

Can you confirm data is enabled on the phone, and you can see some amount of data remaining in your online account?

A few things you can try for the APN:

Try changing MVNO value to 4D4F. If that doesn't work, try deleting MVNO Type (it will show None), and MVNO value as well (it will show Not set).

@briareos477, if you can make a voice call, you are using the 3G network.

Sounds like your problem is data not working?

Can you post a screenshot of your APN settings?

3G coverage >> LTE coverage, always.

@sheytoon Correct; one does not toggle 3G on/off, one turns LTE OFF! The phone is then restricted to 3G. That's my usual setting as 3G does seem more stable/available.

@blackjack

That doesn't make sense. 3G is available essentially everywhere. Are you able to make any voice calls?

What do you mean by turn on 3G? I didn't think it was possible to toggle it on or off with an iPhone.
