The only option for a 'free phone' that I'm aware of is with certain OTHER carriers who may be willing to provide a free (select) phone with the activation of a particular plan type over a certain duration.

Koodo has been known to offer 'virtually' free phones in that they will provide a phone credit which reduces the price of the phone down to their monthly tab amount over 24 months.  When they couple this with a gift card (which can amount as high as $250 - $350) you're virtually getting a 'free phone'.

Thing is, if you port out before the end of the 2-year 'term', you're required to pay-out the remaining portion of the phone credits remaining, so it would then not amount to a free phone.

However, if you remain with them for the 2-year term - then you've essentially attained a free phone.

 Did you lose your phone?

What is your budget for a new phone ( other than $0)? There are options out there to pay in four easy payments for about a $7 fee. So you could get a decent refurbished phone for 4 payments of $30 to $40. We could offer some suggestions.

If you just want a new phone number you can change your phone number once every 30 days from within your account.

@Ruib-93 :Well, even though the answers posted above in reply to your question won't help with getting a phone, you might as well choose one of them as your accepted solution since doing so will help others in future who might have same question at you - just press the accepted solution button above one of the posts under your original post.

You purchase certified pre-owed phones from the Public Mobile website using the link that mimmo provided. However, even for that you must pay the entire price of the phone up front. There are no loans or other type of phone device financing options available here.  For Public Mobile to do that, they would have to peform a credit check which goes against the prepaid service and pricing model.

As for  the plan, are you already a Public Mobile customer.  If not, you can only choose from the plans that Public Mobile is currently offered to new customer. There isn't any such thing as briginging another carrier's plan to Public Mobile.
