I think maybe it because everything is 4g now and I only have 3g and won't connect if anyone has figured this out much appreciated
@derekb22 these are PM's APN settings, check them against yours. Also check in your self service account to make sure that you have data. What are you 4g LTE bands for the phone? And which sub model is it? Thanks.
APN settings:
Name: Mobile Internet
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Not set

Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Not set
APN type: default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri,dun
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4

Restart your phone afterwards.
Do the simple step first. Enable data and restart your phone with PM SIM card inserted to let it to configure your APN automatically.
If restart does not fix your data issue, check your APN setting according to the following info:
My apn is blank or has a bunch of choices none of with work with Koodo,Telus ext I believe is a 3g problem
I've never seen it like this so I'll give it a shoot thank you I'll let you no asap
I don't think it has anything to do with 3G vs 4G....you must not have your APN settings inputed properly.
You are right @derekb22 , your phone doesn't have band 4 4g LTE , so it will not work in areas with only this particular band.

APN is the same for HSPA and LTE. It makes no difference. Likely, the settings aren't correct or you've run out of data.
