Is this model compatible?  I've searched all over the but nobody's mentioned this specific model.  Wanted to ensure this is a compatible phone before I sign up for a new plan.

since that device doesn't have many LTE bands. I suggest changing the preferred network type to 3g/wcdma only

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands: 4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS). HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

It should.. but it only has 1 band on the 4g and 2 on 3G

You are right.  This model was more difficult to find.

It should work with the necessary 3 G bands, 850 and 1900.  Only has one LTE/4G band, so might not be optimal for 4G LTE
